The uniforms that the Norman High Marching Band has worn for generations are more than just fabric and stitching—they are a symbol of belonging, of hard work, of memories that band members carry with them long past their time on the field
Last spring, our marching uniforms were unexpectedly destroyed during cleaning, leaving our current band student without a permanent uniform to wear at football games, contests and performances. With support from Norman Public Schools, the Norman High Band Association is working to purchase new uniforms so that our young musicians can experience the same sense of pride and unity.
We’re reaching out to you to help make this possible. Your donation, in any amount, will directly support the purchase of new uniforms that will serve current and future band members for years to come.
With the support of our community, our goal is to raise $13,000 to help purchase the new uniforms. With your help, we can ensure that current and future students continue to feel the connection, confidence, and excitement as a member of the band.
We also have exciting news—we have received a matching gift challenge from the Oklahoma City Community Foundation (OCCF). The OCCF will match the first $1,000 of donated funds in support of our new uniforms, dollar for dollar. Please consider contributing to this important project, and know that your donation will have twice the impact. Your generosity keeps our legacy strong and helps today’s students create unforgettable band memories that last a lifetime.
