Dear Parents,

Honor’s History Field Trip

The Texas History Honors classes will take a field trip on Friday, April 30, 2027 to the city of Austin.  Our destinations include the Texas State History Museum, the State Capitol Building, the State Cemetery, and a boat ride on Lady Bird Johnson Town Lake and Dave and Busters.

  • Meals: Two meals will be provided.

  • Cost: $150 per student (covers meals, admissions, and Avalon Transportation). Payments may be made in installments by cash, check, or money order.

  • Spending Money: Students are responsible for their own spending money.

  • Availability: Due to class size, only 50 spots are available.

  • Schedule: Depart Kaufman at 6:15 a.m. and return around 11:30 p.m.

I acknowledge that the participant for which I am registering will participate in this event hosted by the school. I release the school and district, its agents, employees, representatives, and volunteers from any liability for injury, death, or property damage that may occur during the event. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless from any such claims arising from the participant's actions during the event. I have read and understand this release of liability, and I agree to it freely and voluntarily. I certify my ability to do so on behalf of the participant.
