Dallas World Aquarium - Registration

Attention parents of 11th and 12th-grade Aquatic Science students! Your student's class will be attending a field trip to the Dallas World Aquarium on October 20, 2026. The cost for admission and travel is $28.00, and there is a convenience fee for electronic payments.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to explore local careers focusing on biology and to investigate aspects of the natural world. We encourage all students to register for this educational and enriching experience!

Agenda for October 20th, 2026

• Leave school on buses: promptly at 9:10 am

• Arrive at Dallas World Aquarium (DWA): 10 am check-in

• Museum Tour: 1.5-2 hours

• Chaperoned walk to Klyde Warren Park (0.4 miles) for a lunch in the park, provided by Food Trucks - sack lunch is not permitted in DWA.  (bring $15-20 for lunch)

• Return to school on buses: promptly 1:10 pm

• Arrive back at school: 2 pm

Chaperones Needed!

• If you are a non-student over 18 who would like to chaperone, please make sure you are registered on Voly.org for LEISD.

• Then, email aspehr@leisd.ws

• Make sure you are able and willing to do the following:

  • I will be at the front of the school at 9 am on Monday, March 24th, and will take the bus with the students.

  • I will purchase an additional registration to pay for my admission and travel to the museum.

  • I can monitor up to 10 students through the Dallas World Aquarium displays.

  • I can walk up to 10 students to Klyde Warren Park (0.4 miles) between 11:30 & 12 pm and get my own lunch from the Food Trucks there.

  • I will help make sure that all my students are on the bus and ready to go back to school by 1 pm.  

  • I will take the bus back with the students.

• Purchase 2 tickets - one for yourself and one for your student if you are definitely going. Tickets can be purchased separately as needed.
