CMS Band: Marching Owls Experience

Your student will spend the afternoon at Kennesaw State University exploring music and learning about their instrument in a hands-on setting. The experience runs from 1:00pm to 7:00pm on October 20, 2026.

The purpose of the Marching Owls Experience is to provide Cartersville Middle School band

students with an opportunity to experience music beyond the middle school classroom. By

visiting Kennesaw State University and interacting with collegiate musicians, students will

see firsthand how participation in bands can continue through high school, college, and

beyond while also pursuing their careers.

Registration Opens: Monday August 31st

Registration Closes: Wednesday September 30th
