Jazz: Contains traditional jazz movements and technique.
Lyrical: Uses fluid and graceful technique to interpret the lyrics, emotion, and content of the music.
Hip Hop*: Street style dance using upbeat rhythm-based movements and funky music styles.
Contemporary*: Incorporating lyrical or jazz movements fused with modern elements.

*Categories &/or Age Divisions may be split or combined depending on the entries received

*All routines will be 1:30-2:45 minutes in length

Novice: FIRST-TIME competitors at a VERY BEGINNING skill level. Single Pirouettes, Chainé Turns, Forward Leaps, Basic dance moves.
Beginning: Single/Double Pirouettes, Piqué Turns, Side Leaps, Beginning dance moves, Beg/Avg Technique & Flexibility.
Intermediate: Polished Double/Triple Pirouettes, Fouetté sequences (3+), Turn & Leap Combinations, Good Technique & Flexibility.
Advanced: Multiple &/or Directional Fouettés (5+), Specialty Turns/Leaps, Advanced moves, Very Good/Excellent Technique & Flexibility.
