Palette of Personalities
Acrylic on canvas

12th Grade, 7th Period
My piece, Palette of Personalities, was requested by my friend, Elizabeth Jones. When I asked her what she wanted, she became overwhelmed with possibilities. She began to give me dozens of ideas for the painting that were extremely different. I then observed that she was a person with a wild, indecisive brain so I decided to combine all of the ideas she gave me. This painting successfully combines her favorite things into one with a crazy and vibrant composition to match my clients personality.
I drew inspiration from the contemporary artist Heather Day and her ability to use vibrant colors in a beautiful abstract composition. I also got inspiration from the famous historic artist Salvador Dali and his use of surrealism.
In this piece, I used acrylic paint to produce a complex and chaotic composition in a dreamlike.
All purchased artwork should be picked up and taken home from the reception on April 23rd 4-6pm at North Gwinnett High school in the CLC.
