My Mom
10th Grade, 7th Period
This is for my mom; a portrait of my older brother from spring, 2009, that captures the fleeting joy of childhood, and is one of many cherished memories. Contemporary artist Bo Bartlett and impressionist Auguste-Pierre Renoir inspired the style and bright, dynamic colors of this work.
To capture the feeling of nostalgia, I used a playful composition and brilliant, glowing colors to create a dreamlike atmosphere, similar to a memory.
Delivery Instructions
All purchased artwork should be picked up and taken home from the reception on April 23rd 4-6pm at North Gwinnett High school in the CLC.
