Some young people stand out because of their talent. Others stand out because of their character. Estella is blessed to have both. As she prepares for her junior year tryouts, I want everyone to know that this young woman has already proven what determination, discipline, and hard work can accomplish. Her commitment in the classroom and in athletics has already earned her a college scholarship, a testament to the countless hours, sacrifices, and dedication she has poured into her dreams. But what makes me most proud isn’t the scholarship, the grades, or the athletic achievements. It’s her heart. Estella is kind when no one is watching, thoughtful when others need support, and always willing to lend a helping hand. She treats people with respect, lifts others up, and leads with compassion and grace. She is beautiful inside and out, and her character shines brighter than any trophy or title ever could. No matter what happens during these tryouts, success was never going to be defined by a team list or a final decision. Success is already written in the person she has become — resilient, hardworking, humble, compassionate, and courageous enough to keep reaching for more. Estella, continue to trust yourself, believe in your abilities, and chase every dream placed in your heart. Your talent may open doors, but your character will take you places beyond anything you can imagine. Keep working hard. Keep staying humble. Keep being the incredible young woman you are. We are so proud of you and will be cheering for you every step of the way. Your future is bright, and this is only the beginning. Go show them what you’re made of.
