Village Aid Project!

Support VAP Student Travel!

This May, Village Aid Project will travel to Zambia to install a community-designed water system as part of a long-term partnership.

Travel is a necessary part of this work. Being on-site allows students to collaborate directly with community leaders, understand local conditions, and ensure that the system is built correctly, sustainably, and with full community ownership.

As a volunteer-run organization, donations go directly toward helping students cover the costs of getting from Durango to Zambia.

Your support helps:

  • Reduce financial barriers to participation

  • Ensure technical systems are installed and tested in person

  • Strengthen a five-year community partnership

This work is rooted in collaboration, sustainability, and education, not short-term service.

We are grateful for any contribution that helps make this trip possible.
