The Westlake Farm is more than just a school facility—it is a living classroom where students gain real-world experience in agriculture, animal science, and sustainable food production.
Each year, hundreds of students and thousands of community members visit the farm to learn, serve, and connect with agriculture. From caring for livestock to managing crops and participating in hands-on learning experiences, students are developing skills that prepare them for careers, leadership, and lifelong success.
To continue growing these opportunities, we are actively working to improve and expand our farm infrastructure. Funds raised through sponsorships directly support projects such as:
Automatic watering systems in each livestock pen to improve animal care and efficiency
New fans and misting systems to ensure proper ventilation and animal comfort during hot months
Concrete improvements in pens for safety, sanitation, and long-term durability
Support for student livestock projects and stock shows, helping students raise and exhibit high-quality animals
Expansion of our cut flower farm, providing hands-on floral and small-scale agriculture experiences
Development of our orchard and hay field to increase production and learning opportunities
Ongoing maintenance and improvements to keep the farm safe, functional, and sustainable
