As the 2026–2027 wrestling season approaches this November, we're raising funds to give our student-athletes every opportunity to succeed on and off the mat. Your support helps provide essential resources that allow our wrestlers on both girls and boys teams to compete at a high level, build confidence, and proudly represent West High School.

Whether you're a former wrestler, coach, alumni, parent, family member, or community supporter, your donation directly impacts the experience our athletes have throughout the season.

Our Fundraising Priorities

🏆 Tournament Entry Fees — Goal: $2,000

Each season, West High Wrestling spends approximately $6,000 on tournament entry fees. Unfortunately, participation fees and student-led fundraisers don't fully cover these costs, forcing us to make difficult decisions about which tournaments we can attend. Competing against the best teams gives our wrestlers valuable experience and prepares them for region, divisional, and state competition.

🥋 New Uniforms — Goal: $1,000

While we've invested in new singlets in recent years, many of today's athletes are more comfortable competing in fight gear, which is an approved wrestling uniform. Providing this option removes a barrier for new wrestlers, helps with recruiting and retention, and gives every athlete the opportunity to compete in gear they feel confident wearing.

🚌 St. George Dual Tournament Trip — Goal: $3,000

We're raising funds to send our team to a premier dual tournament in St. George, Utah. This budget covers transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, and tournament fees for our athletes. Experiences like these help our wrestlers compete against top programs, strengthen team chemistry, and create memories they'll carry long after the season ends.
