Printing Possibilities: Supporting Special Education Learning

Our Students
Our classrooms are filled with bright, resilient middle school students in special education programs. Each student has unique learning needs and thrives when given materials that are personalized, visual, and accessible. From modified assignments to visual schedules and step-by-step directions, printed resources are essential for their success.

Our Project
We are requesting three printers with ink—one for each direct special education classroom in our program. Having dedicated printers in our classrooms will allow us to:

  • Print individualized assignments and visual supports right when students need them.

  • Provide immediate access to tools like graphic organizers, reading scaffolds, and behavior charts.

  • Reduce lost time walking to shared printers, keeping students engaged in learning.

Many of our students rely on consistent structure and clear visuals. A classroom printer ensures we can respond quickly and flexibly to their needs, making learning more accessible and less frustrating.

Why This Matters
For our students, something as simple as having a modified worksheet in hand or a fresh visual schedule can make the difference between confusion and confidence. With your support, we can create classrooms where students feel prepared, supported, and capable every day.

What We Need

  • 3 reliable printers (one per classroom)

  • Ink to keep them running throughout the year

Your donation will help us provide immediate, personalized learning resources that meet our students right where they are. Thank you for helping us put the right tools in the hands of teachers and students who need them most!
