Roller Skating in PE — All Grades

We're excited to offer roller skating during PE for all grade levels! The school will be split in half so every student has the chance to participate safely and with plenty of space. Group A will roller skate during the week of February 9–13, and Group B will roller skate during the week of February 16–20.

• Skate rental: We partner with a professional roller skate company in Indiana to provide quality skates for all students.

• Cost: There is a $10 fee per student to cover skate rental and equipment.

• Forms: A permission form and shoe size form will be sent home at the end of this week — please return both promptly to ensure your child can participate.

• Safety first: Protective wrist guards are required and helmets are optional; staff will review rules and basic skating techniques before students begin.

• Skills focus: Balance, coordination, spatial awareness, and cooperative activities.

• Accessibility: Alternative activities and adaptive equipment will be available for students who need them.
