Tooele Education Foundation Summer Classes 2025
The Tooele Education Foundation’s ropes challenge course offers an incredible opportunity to enhance confidence and develop team-building skills in a fun, educational way. If you like the thrill of navigating your way through various elements while 20 or 30 feet off the ground, come enjoy a morning of physical activity in a safe, fun atmosphere in the majestic Ophir Canyon. This course is a collection of 22 elements constructed of wooden poles, cables, and apparatuses that provide participants with a challenging experience that strengthens the mind and body.
All class registrations close seven days prior. Many classes fill quickly. However, each class requires a minimum of five participants to be held. If we do not have five participants, we will combine with another class or cancel and refund the money at the discretion of the Tooele Education Foundation. Class fees are otherwise non-refundable.
Registration covers bus transportation, lunch, snacks, water, a T-shirt, materials and supplies, and instruction. Students must dress appropriately for an outdoor experience. Closed-toe shoes, a hat, a light jacket, gloves (if appropriate), and sunscreen are highly recommended.
AM CLASSES: Students will board a TCSD school bus at Tooele High School (301 W Vine Street, Tooele—in the front of the school) at 8:00 AM and depart for the Ophir Canyon Education Center. The bus will return to Tooele High School at approximately 12:00 PM. Please make arrangements to have your student picked up at this time. Students will not have access to the school to call for a ride.
You will receive an email confirmation with a QR code. Please have this QR code available when checking in.
