Tooele Education Foundation Summer Classes 2025

Come join local educator Stephen Sagers and learn how to work with leather to create a nice belt, knife sheath, coin pouch, or other piece of leather work.  Students in this class will complete a nice leather project to take home with them.

All class registrations close seven days prior. Many classes fill quickly. However, each class requires a minimum of five participants to be held. If we do not have five participants, we will combine with another class or cancel and refund the money at the discretion of the Tooele Education Foundation. Class fees are otherwise non-refundable.

Registration covers bus transportation, lunch, snacks, water, a T-shirt, materials and supplies, and instruction. Students must dress appropriately for an outdoor experience. Closed-toe shoes, a hat, a light jacket, gloves (if appropriate), and sunscreen are highly recommended.

AM CLASSES: Students will board a TCSD school bus at Tooele High School (301 W Vine Street, Tooele—in the front of the school) at 8:00 AM and depart for the Ophir Canyon Education Center. The bus will return to Tooele High School at approximately 12:00 PM. Please make arrangements to have your student picked up at this time. Students will not have access to the school to call for a ride.

You will receive an email confirmation with a QR code. Please have this QR code available when checking in.
