Join local photographers, Garrett Bryant and Terra Sherwood, as they guide students through learning the finer points of taking outdoor photos in the beautiful Ophir Canyon. The class will be spent in the field exploring subjects and focusing on the elements of basic photography.

*** Students are required to bring their own camera, or cell phone, to participate in this class. Each participant will receive a $5 gift card to print out their pictures.***

All class registrations close seven days prior. Many classes fill quickly. However, each class requires a minimum of five participants to be held. If we do not have five participants, we will combine with another class or cancel and refund the money at the discretion of the Tooele Education Foundation. Class fees are otherwise non-refundable.

Registration covers bus transportation, lunch, snacks, water, a T-shirt, materials and supplies, and instruction. Students must dress appropriately for an outdoor experience. Closed-toe shoes, a hat, a light jacket, gloves (if appropriate), and sunscreen are highly recommended.

AM CLASSES: Students will board a TCSD school bus at Tooele High School (301 W Vine Street, Tooele—in the front of the school) at 8:00 AM and depart for the Ophir Canyon Education Center. The bus will return to Tooele High School at approximately 12:00 PM. Please make arrangements to have your student picked up at this time. Students will not have access to the school to call for a ride.
