Tooele Education Foundation Summer Classes 2025
Come discover the world of wood carving! This wood carving class, taught by Ron Clements, is designed for someone's very first carving experience. By the end of the morning class, you will have created your own little animal to take home with you. You will learn about tools, basic cuts, and ways to become a wonderful wood carver.
All class registrations close seven days prior. Many classes fill quickly. However, each class requires a minimum of five participants to be held. If we do not have five participants, we will combine with another class or cancel and refund the money at the discretion of the Tooele Education Foundation. Class fees are otherwise non-refundable.
Registration covers bus transportation, lunch, snacks, water, a T-shirt, materials and supplies, and instruction. Students must dress appropriately for an outdoor experience. Closed-toe shoes, a hat, a light jacket, gloves (if appropriate), and sunscreen are highly recommended.
AM CLASSES: Students will board a TCSD school bus at Tooele High School (301 W Vine Street, Tooele—in the front of the school) at 8:00 AM and depart for the Ophir Canyon Education Center. The bus will return to Tooele High School at approximately 12:00 PM. Please make arrangements to have your student picked up at this time. Students will not have access to the school to call for a ride.
You will receive an email confirmation with a QR code. Please have this QR code available when checking in.
