Tooele Education Foundation Summer Classes 2025
Ever wonder what it's like to go mountain biking in the beautiful Ophir Canyon? Come join Chet Maloney as he teaches the finer points of beginning mountain biking and how to care for and maintain a bike. Mountain bikes and helmets are provided for use. You may want to bring a pair of gloves.
All class registrations close seven days prior. Many classes fill quickly. However, each class requires a minimum of five participants to be held. If we do not have five participants, we will combine with another class or cancel and refund the money at the discretion of the Tooele Education Foundation. Class fees are otherwise non-refundable.
Registration covers bus transportation, lunch, snacks, water, a T-shirt, materials and supplies, and instruction. Students must dress appropriately for an outdoor experience. Closed-toe shoes, a hat, a light jacket, gloves (if appropriate), and sunscreen are highly recommended.
PM CLASSES: Students will board a TCSD school bus at Tooele High (301 W Vine Street, Tooele) at 12:00 PM and depart for the Ophir Canyon Education Center. The bus will return to Tooele High at approximately 4:00 PM. Please make arrangements to have your student picked up at this time. Students will not have access to the school to call for a ride.
You will receive an email confirmation with a QR code. Please have this QR code available when checking in.
