Deer Creek 6 Hour Challenge

The Deer Creek 6 Hour Challenge is a 3 person relay style race where teams will compete to cover as many miles as possible in 6 hours. Team members will take turns running a 3.5 mile lap starting and finishing at the new Deer Creek High School track and winding through gravel roads of the beautiful North Fields in the Heber Valley.

Race Details

Date and Time: June 27, 2026. Race starts at 8:00am

Location: Deer Creek High School track, located at 901 West Riverhawk Road Heber City, UT

Cost: $300 per team, $200 for high school and middle school teams

Registration: Teams can register up until 5:00pm on June 26.

SWAG: Teams that register by June 10 get a t-shirt

Support: Water and light snacks provided at the start/finish area with additional food available for purchase.

Rules: Teams must complete the full lap inside the 6 hour time limit in order to receive milage credit. If a runner is on the course when the 6 hour clock expires, the team won't get credit for the partial lap that is in progress. At the 5 hour mark, an option 1/2 mile loop will be available for teams who don't believe they can cover a full 3.5 mile loop before the clock expires.
