GSMST STEM Research Fundraiser

GSMST, the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology, is the top-ranked high school in the state of Georgia and 13th in the nation.

GSMST not only offers a rigorous curriculum that prepares students for top colleges but has also established an innovative interdisciplinary research program. Their unique program enables all students to explore their academic interests through STEM research throughout their four years in high school.

Every challenge faced in this world can and will be solved through STEM research. Whether it’s advancing healthcare and disease prevention, inventing ethical artificial intelligence platforms, creating ways to harness clean energy, or even expanding space exploration, the solutions are rooted in science, technology, engineering, and math.

This is why we as a society need a new form of education. Traditional learning methods reliant upon lectures and textbooks are no longer sufficient. We must train students to ask questions, to create, and to innovate. We must develop leaders who can solve the problems of today and tomorrow. We can achieve this goal by providing students with the opportunity to develop these skills now, through research in high school.

GSMST’s interdisciplinary research program has done an exceptional job of cultivating a genuine scientific interest within the student body and preparing them to be future scientists. Each year, hundreds of GSMST students participate in local, state, national, and international science competitions; present their findings at conferences; and, most importantly, inspire the community to see the world through the lens of STEM.

Your donation will empower GSMST to acquire the infrastructure and equipment needed to function as a true collegiate research facility. This would allow all GSMST students to produce projects publishable in peer-reviewed journals at an equal rate to undergraduate students.

The GSMST Research Initiative would allow students to create solutions to global problems, inspire other high schools to expand research opportunities, and ensure that their graduates enter higher education with the experience needed to contribute meaningfully to the world.

Every little bit helps, so please support the GSMST STEM Research program’s mission by clicking the blue “Donate” button. Thank you for your generosity.
