CCES - 2026 5th Grade Fort Harrod Trip

The fifth grade class will be going on a field trip Thursday, October 15th to Old Fort Harrod State Park in Harrodsburg, which ties in with our Social Studies unit of Native Americans & Colonization.

We will be leaving school at approximately 8:30am and will return by 2:30pm. The students are required to be in school dress code and we ask that you please make sure they dress appropriately for the weather that day. We will be outside and walking the entire day.

The cost of the trip for students is $5. We are asking that all payments and permission slips are returned by September 25th so we can finalize details with Ft. Harrod.

Chaperones are welcome and encouraged to attend providing that you have a current background check on file with the school. There will not be space for parents on the bus; however, you can follow the bus or meet us at Fort Harrod. The cost to chaperone is $6.
