We are excited to announce our annual Math-A-Thon Fundraiser. Not only will students be actively engaged in academic work to increase math skills and to prepare for end-of-year testing, but we will also be working as a community to support our school.
The money earned from this fundraiser will be used primarily to fund field trips. We hope to increase from funding one fieldtrip per grade-level to two fieldtrips per year. Additional funds will be used to support our school social-emotional learning initiative and our school improvement plan.
The students in grades K-5 will complete 100 math problems appropriate for their grade level during the week. Every child will have the opportunity to correct any mistakes before turning in the assignments, allowing all students to achieve 100%.
To add incentive to the fundraiser, students will receive prizes for participation. All students who complete the 100 math problems will receive a prize for participating. Additional prizes will be awarded for collecting pledges at the $10.00, $30.00, $50.00, and $75.00 levels. A Mad Science Assembly will be the grand prize. This will be awarded to the 50 students who collect the most in pledge money.
DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE THE NAME OF THE CHILD YOU ARE SPONSORING IN THE COMMENTS!
