Jefferson Elementary-2nd Zoo field trip

Second grade is heading to the OKC Zoo on October 6, 2026! We have an exciting day of learning planned. Please review the important details below.

• Time: We leave the school around 9:30 AM and will return to school around 2:00 PM.

• Cost & Donations: We are asking for a donation of $8.00 per child. Thanks to a generous donation of $400, our overall per-student cost has already been reduced! If you would like to help another family cover their cost, you are welcome to pay more than the requested $8.00.

• 🎒 What to Pack:

  • A disposable lunch (everything should be throw-away)

  • A drink 

• 👟 What to Wear:

  • A Jefferson T-shirt (if your child has one)

  • Comfortable walking shoes

  • Please dress for the weather! A hat and sunscreen are highly recommended.
