Skyridge Football Lift-a-Thon
Skyridge Football is the home of the 2022 6a State Championship. For our Spring 2023 Fundraiser, we are doing a Lift-a-thon! The Skyridge Falcon Football Team will complete a 1-rep max for 4 lifts; Bench Press, Squat, Military, and Hang Clean. We will add up the total weight lifted from these 4 lifts and subtract that players 40-yard dash time. Players will be broken into three weight classes; Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight. The top 3 placers in each weight class will be recognized.
(Ex. BENCH 250 + SQUAT 400 + MILITARY 150 + CLEAN 225 = 1025, PLAYER RUNS A 4.75 40-YARD DASH, 1025 - 475 = 550 SCORE)
We are asking if you would please pledge sponsorship of an athlete! These donations will go directly to the name of that individual to help offset any fees associated with participating in Skyridge Football. Players will receive 90% of all pledged donations. There is an additional option to select at checkout to cover charges that would then give the player 95% of the donation.
There are two ways in which you can donate:
- FLAT DONATION - You can make a flat donation in the name of any athlete.
- PERCENTAGE DONATION - You can pledge a percentage of the players overall score. You may pledge 'X' of money toward a players overall score. If you were to pledge .10 cents toward a player and that player received an overall score of 550. That would result in a $55 donation toward that player.
We have four pre-set donation options; Player Sponsor ($1000), Gold ($100), Silver ($50) and Bronze ($25). You can always select "DONATE" and choose any amount that you'd like. Be sure to select your player so that they receive credit for your donation!
The Lift-a-Thon will be conducted by Head Coach Justin Hemm during our scheduled lifting times. Our Lift-a-Thon will take place from May 15th - May 19th.
Official scores will be shared Friday, May 19th. The fundraiser will close Friday, May 26th. As a result, any PERCENTAGE DONATIONS must be completed by then!
