You can now issue refunds without refunding the entire transaction!
This is especially helpful when only part of an order needs to be refunded — like when a parent registers multiple kids for a camp, but one can no longer attend and needs a refund.
In addition to full refunds, you now have two new options:
- Partial refunds — select specific items within a transaction to refund (inventory restocks automatically)
- Custom amount refunds — refund any dollar amount up to the transaction total
Good to know:
- Full refunds are still available anytime
- Partial and custom refunds become available once a transaction finishes processing (typically within 24 hours)
- In-person sales made using our legacy card reader currently support full refunds only
- Standard refund rules still apply (90-day window, no refunds on disputed transactions)
- Refunds are not permitted on partner fundraisers (digital gift cards or vouchers)
Processing fees are handled fairly — you only cover the proportional share, and anything beyond that is absorbed on our end.
When refunds are processed, they are withheld from your next payout. If there aren’t enough funds in the upcoming deposit to cover the refund yet, you can either wait until enough funds have accumulated (typically Thursdays or Fridays are best), or issue the refund separately.
More flexibility, less hassle when handling refunds — so you can run your campaign with confidence.
